Sometimes in projects using a 7-point adaptive family is too many points to be able to create curved compartmentation. Then it is easier to reduce the number of points in the family. This will affect all adaptive-family and all instances in the project, so be careful using this method.

Start by editing the family from the project browser, it contains "Fire_Adaptive..." in all templates.

Go to a top view via the view cube and select point 5-7
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the three points are select, delete them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Load into project and close, do not save the family.
Now the adaptive family is just made out of 4 points instead of 7.
